Objectives of the SUNIES research program

SUNIES project is carried out in the framework of the bilateral cooperation between Greece and Federal Republic of Germany and is funded by the General Secretariat for Research and Innovation (GSRI) to promote competitiveness, entrepreneurship and innovation. The objectives of the project are to study the functionality of a hybrid Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) under specific load and fuel conditions and to develop possible application scenarios of the system in interconnected island networks.
